Company Wide Health Challenges
Challenges help to increase activity levels and educate employees. Various types of movement are encouraged to allow for participation from individuals with exercise restrictions or disabilities.
Employees form teams with co-workers to encourage a healthy competitive edge to the fun! Teams can view their progress in real time on the WellAdvantage Web Portal. Individuals register activity minutes, steps or weight. The system automatically ranks them individually and by team to keep the momentum alive.
Movement challenges include walking, climbing stairs, running, stretching, participating in exercise classes and more where they collect points. Employees of all fitness levels can participate including handicapped individuals. Groups adopt team names and are encouraged to become fit for life in this program. Safe walking tips, nutrition tips, and healthy lifestyle tips are sent to participants by e-mail during the program.
